Numbers, those abstract entities that represent a form of measurement, allow us to create some sort of order in this world. While we may have perfected this form of measurement, our fellow inhabitants of this world may not. In her article, "What Do Animals Think About Numbers?", Kazuki Iizuka searches for an understanding of animals and how they have evolved over time. Jacob Schneider investigates the attitudes of high school students towards homosexuals in his article, "Homophobia and Group Identity." Using surveys to collect his data, he is able to determine comfortability levels of his peers towards homosexuals. Our very own Rachel Garrison explores the effects religion can have on an individual. Does faith in a greater being simply provide the internal comfort needed for life in this world, or can that same faith also shape the habits and lifestyle of the individual. Read more about this Garrison's, "The 'R Word' and its effects on Drug Use and Prevention."
